Terms of service.
These operational terms describe accounts, connected services, AI-assisted work, billing, acceptable use, and the limits that apply when you use TaskCenter.
Updated August 17, 2026
Product-ready draft for counsel review. A customer order form or negotiated agreement controls if it conflicts with these public terms.
Authorized use
Use only accounts, content, tools, and provider scopes you have authority to access.
Human judgment
You remain responsible for reviewing AI output and proposed actions before consequential use.
Configured capability
Availability depends on the selected plan, deployment, providers, permissions, and runtime readiness.
01
Accounts and authority
You are responsible for the people, workspaces, and credentials under your control.
- Provide accurate account information, protect credentials and sessions, and notify us of suspected unauthorized access.
- If you use TaskCenter for an organization, you represent that you may accept these terms and authorize the submitted content, users, connectors, and requested actions for that organization.
- Workspace owners and administrators may manage membership, permissions, retention preferences, connections, billing, and access to organization content.
02
Your content and connected services
You keep ownership of your content while granting the access needed to provide the service.
- You grant TaskCenter the limited rights needed to host, process, transmit, display, and transform submitted content to operate and secure the requested service.
- You must have the right to provide workspace content and authorize OAuth or API access. Provider terms, privacy notices, rate limits, and account restrictions continue to apply.
- Third-party services are controlled by their providers. TaskCenter is not responsible for provider outages, policy changes, revoked scopes, or provider-side retention.
03
AI and agent-assisted work
Generated material and tool actions can be incomplete, incorrect, or unsuitable without review.
- Review plans, code, research, summaries, artifacts, and proposed actions before relying on them for legal, financial, employment, security, safety-critical, or other high-impact decisions.
- TaskCenter may gate, pause, reject, or require approval for actions based on permissions, readiness, risk, provider rules, or platform safeguards.
- You are responsible for the instructions you provide and for actions you approve. Product labels describing example, preview, blocked, or unavailable capability are part of the service boundary.
04
Acceptable use
Do not use TaskCenter to harm people, systems, providers, or the service.
- Do not violate law or third-party rights; access accounts without authorization; distribute malware; evade security controls; conduct abusive surveillance; or submit unlawful, infringing, or deceptive content.
- Do not probe or disrupt the service except through an authorized security program, resell access without permission, or use automation to exceed documented limits or provider policies.
- We may investigate, limit, suspend, or terminate access to protect users, providers, TaskCenter, or legal obligations.
05
Plans, billing, and service changes
Paid usage follows the selected package and any controlling order form.
- Package price, included credits, metered usage, taxes, renewal, and cancellation are shown at purchase or in an applicable order. Stripe may process payment information.
- Checkout is available only for configured packages. Contact-led or unavailable checkout is not a promise that provisioning or a particular feature is active.
- We may change or discontinue features, providers, limits, previews, or plans. Material term changes will be posted with an updated date or communicated when required.
06
Ownership, disclaimers, and liability
The service is provided subject to the limits permitted by applicable law and any controlling agreement.
- TaskCenter and its licensors own the service, software, design, and documentation. Feedback may be used without restriction or obligation unless separately agreed.
- The service, AI output, previews, and third-party connections are provided as available and without guarantees of uninterrupted, error-free, or fit-for-purpose operation.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, indirect, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages are excluded; any remaining aggregate liability is limited by the controlling agreement or fees paid for the affected service period.
07
Termination and contact
Access may end, but obligations tied to prior use can survive.
- You may stop using the service or request account closure. We may suspend or terminate access for breach, risk, nonpayment, provider restriction, or legal necessity.
- Content access may end at termination. Retained billing, security, audit, backup, legal, and provider records may remain as described in the Privacy notice or controlling agreement.
- Questions about these terms can be sent to legal@taskcenter.co. Governing law, venue, indemnity, and enterprise commitments should be finalized in a counsel-approved customer agreement before broad commercial rollout.
