This notice explains the browser cookies and similar storage TaskCenter uses for essential product behavior and optional analytics.

Essential stays on

Secure sessions and requested browser preferences keep the product working.

PostHog and the first-party analytics beacon do not load or send before a current explicit choice.

The versioned preference is stored in this browser and can be changed from Cookie settings.

These records support authentication, security, and product behavior you request.

TaskCenter session, OAuth-state, and short-lived agent bridge cookies are first-party security records. Session cookies are HttpOnly where the browser does not need to read them.
Local and session storage may retain appearance, drafts, panel and project preferences, active run controls, review annotations, and other requested workspace state.
Essential records are not disabled by the analytics choice because signing in and preserving requested product state depend on them.

This category exists only when TaskCenter's PostHog project is configured.

Before acceptance, TaskCenter does not import the PostHog browser SDK and does not send the first-party pageview beacon.
If accepted, PostHog may use local storage for masked interaction analytics, route-template pageviews, feature flags, and surveys. TaskCenter does not configure an advertising category.
Do Not Track remains authoritative. When enabled in the browser, optional analytics stays inactive even after an analytics selection.

Cookie settings is available in the public footer and in authenticated Data & privacy settings.

Reject all and Accept all are available on the first notice. Cookie settings provides the same analytics choice in detail.
Withdrawing analytics stops later browser capture and clears PostHog browser persistence while retaining the versioned consent decision.
Clearing browser storage removes the saved decision, so TaskCenter asks again if optional analytics is still configured.
